We are proud to welcome Walter Chi as our Chief Operations Officer, further strengthening the leadership team guiding our continued growth.
Walter brings more than 20 years of experience leading complex security operations and helping organizations scale with discipline, structure, and operational clarity. Throughout his career, he has built high-performing teams, strengthened client partnerships, and implemented operational systems that support consistent, reliable service.
In his role at Citadel, Walter will help lead our business and security operations with a focus on improving decision-making, refining processes, and implementing best-practice operational standards across the company. His leadership will support our continued growth while ensuring we maintain the professionalism, responsiveness, and reliability our clients expect.
Before joining Citadel, Walter spent 17 years with Securitas Security Services, where he served as Vice President within the Global Clients Americas Division. In that role, he supported national and global security programs, helping oversee operational deployment, client engagement initiatives, compliance programs, and major account transitions across a diverse portfolio of clients.
Earlier in his career, Walter served as Director of Training and Operations for the Archangel Group, an anti-terrorism training and consulting firm supporting U.S. military, law enforcement, and government agencies. During that time, he trained SWAT teams and U.S. Army Special Forces in close-quarters tactics and participated in the assessment team following the Virginia Tech shooting.
Walter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University. He is Colorado POST certified, a graduate of the British SAS veterans’ bodyguard program, and a member of the Professional Bodyguard Association.
As Citadel continues expanding across commercial, industrial, government, healthcare, and infrastructure environments, Walter’s leadership will play an important role in strengthening the operational foundation that supports our clients and teams.
